The company began in construction work when the founder, Mr Francois Bornman, bought his first second hand TLB 580 SK in 2001, and started to rent it out to his clients in the construction industry.
Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and now provides affordable, reliable, quality earthmoving plant and equipment and operators.

Case Hire’s service centre is based at the N4 Gateway, where their plant is supported by a 24/7 in-field services team, which altogether numbers more than 40 employees. A wide range of spares is in stock and all equipment conforms to required standards in terms of both mining and construction applications.
In all the industry sectors that we operate in, safety, health and environmental compliance is a top company priority. In this respect, occupational health screening and medical check-ups are conducted throughout the year on all personnel. This ensures that all Case Hire employees are fit for work in their speciality fields.
Taking a forward view of the market, Case hire was able to maintain a 30% year-on-year growth rate over the past three years and is projecting the same for 2014, with a focus on heavy line equipment.
Current medium to longer term contracts for Case Hire are diverse, comprising work for key clients that include Eskom, Aveng Grinaker-LTA, Stefanutti Stocks, Basil Read, Elan Civils, and Raubex Construction.
Going forward our focus area for growth is in the mining, road construction and maintenance industries.
